Connie L. (Sorg) Kopp Freeman

Connie L. (Sorg) Kopp Freeman, 66, died Saturday, September 12, 2015. She was born April 6, 1949 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late John and Lena (Skaggs) Sorg. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Barry Freeman and her infant son, Joey Kopp. She spent most of her life living in New Albany and worked at M. Fine and Sons for over 15 years. She enjoyed sewing, fishing, camping, Halloween, and all things fall. She loved her pets, a cat, Mariah, and a dog that recently passed, Sugar. She was loved dearly by her family and will be greatly missed, especially by her grandchildren, but they take comfort that she will get to be with her baby, Joey.

Daughter: Christine Kopp Dowdle

Grandchildren: Madison Ferrell and Nichole Dowdle

Great Grandchild: Xzavier Abell

Siblings: Millie Rush, Deborah Howell, and Timmy Sorg

Former Husband: Robert J. Kopp

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Wednesday and after 9:00 am Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Thursday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
