Chester Watson, age 90, of Jeffersonville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Chester was born in Horse Cave, Kentucky on April 3, 1933 to the late Charlie and Flora Watson. He was retired from Navistar and International Harvester. Chester was a veteran in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Scottish Rite, York Rite, VFW Post 1170 and was a Free Mason with the Boaz Masonic Home Lodge 850 F&AM.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Beulah May Watson; a grandson, Phillip Mark Watson and numerous siblings.
He is survived by three children, Phillip Mark Watson (Radiene), Teresa Karen Mellett (Maynard) and Alan Neil Watson (Monica); a sister, Dolly Watson Taylor; grandchildren, Erin Hayes, Jessica Watson, Natalie Adams, Cheyenne Ellis and Wyatt Corcoran; one great grandson, Bentley Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Chester will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
Funeral service will be Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Kraft Funeral Service with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
