Charlotte Flora L. Bittner

Charlotte L. Flora Bittner, 91 years of age died Wednesday August 15th, 2012 at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany. Charlotte was born August 3rd, 1921 in New Albany, IN. to the late George L. and Mayme Ang Flora. She was a retired employee after 37 years with the Colgate-Palmolive Co. Charlotte was the widow of her husband of 60 years George T. Bittner and a member of the First Assembly of God. Charlotte was an avid card player and will be missed by her family and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jacqueline R. Bittner Downs and two sisters Margaret Peay and Eurdenne Wimp.

Sister: Lucille Dobson

Numerous Loving Nieces and Nephews

Best Friends: Lois L. Johnson and Wanda Jean Bary.

Reception of Family and Friends will be from 1:00 pm ~ 6:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana and from 9:00 am ~ 11:00 am Monday at the First Assembly of God 2778 Charlestown Rd. New Albany. Her Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Monday August 20th, 2012 at the First Assembly of God with interment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, Indiana.
