Bill was the widower of Mildred I. Doering, the retired vice president of engineering with the Brinly-Hardy Company, and was an Army veteran. He and his wife Mildred were members of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville.
Survivors include children, Pamela S. Kraft (Dennis) of Charlestown, Kevin W. Doering of Louisville; grandchildren, Krishana, Kevin (Marissa), Brad and Brian; great-grandchildren, Kaleb and Khloe; sister, Margaret Gearinger, of Pittsburgh, PA; sisters-in-law, Betty Doering, of Louisville and Margaret Bain of Clarksville.
Cremation has been chosen. Memorial visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, IN. His memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the Kraft Charlestown Road. Funeral Chapel with private entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park Chapel of the Cross.
