Birdie Elizabeth Whiteside

Birdie Elizabeth Whiteside, 77 years of age passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at her home in St. Petersburg, FL. Birdie was born November 6, 1940 in Fern Creek, KY to the late Theodore and Dorothy Breeding, she was a longtime resident of Henryville, IN and retired from Public Service Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband David Whiteside, brothers, Roger and David Breeding, and a sister, Lois Breeding.

She was a loving mother to her children, Kelly Johnson (Jeff), Misti Whiteside (Steve Lovewell), Margery Kentz (Doug), Roger Whiteside (Amapola). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Zachary Settembre, Brennah Kentz, Audrey Kentz, Kaden Kentz, and Alexandra Whiteside, brother, Joseph Breeding, and sister, Teddy Smith.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
