Beverly Jean Powers Boling

BEVERLY JEAN POWERS BOLING, 81, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016. The daughter of the late Archie and Mabel (Hobbs) Powers, Beverly was born June 16, 1935 in Tell City, Indiana. She was retired from the Registrar’s Office at Indiana University Southeast. Beverly was a lifetime member of the American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post #28 Ladies Auxiliary, Northside Christian Church, and Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Iota Alpha Chapter, Sorority. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Boling, Sr.

Survivors include her children, Richard E. Boling, II (Dawn), Mellody Green (Michael), and Mellinda Taylor (Roy); siblings, Earl Powers, Jerry Powers, Wanda Conway, and Rosemary Moyes; grandchildren, Shannon Fetz (Erin), Daneen Morton (Jason), Steve Jenkins, Melissa Jenkins, Alex Boling, and Abigail Boling; and great grandchildren, Owen and Anna Fetz and Blaire and Jax Morton.

Visitation will be 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Monday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
