Betty Jean Stickels

Betty Jean Stickels, age 78, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Betty was born in Brandenburg, Kentucky on April 26, 1946 to the late Eugene Edward Martin and Emma Lois Ruth Martin. Betty was a retired office manager with Dr. Cynthia Nassim & Associates with over 25 years of service. She was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister and dog mom. Betty loved to travel, especially to Wild Dunes Beach in Charleston, South Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five siblings.

Betty is survived by her husband, David P. Stickels; three children, Jeff Stickels (Kelly), Jenny Cook (Barry) and Jeremy Stickels; grandchildren, Cameron Stickels (Cheyenne), Caelynn Stickels, Caven Stickels, Reese Cook, Riley Cook, Collin Stickels and Grace Stickels; two great grandchildren with a third on the way, Lennon Neal, Eleanor Stickels and Arlen Stickels; three siblings, Ann Anderson (Joe), Ricky Martin (Rosie) and Sandy Martin; her beloved dog, Cooper and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 East Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana with a memorial service beginning at 6:00 PM.
