Betty Jean (Holt) Moore, age 86, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024. She was born in Lutz, Tennessee, on December 27, 1937. She was married to her loving husband of over 60 years, the late Winford Moore.
Betty was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time and playing with her grandchildren. Cooking and sewing were her favorite pastimes.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Winford Moore.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Moore and Michael Moore (Triee); her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Jeanette Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty's visitation will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana.
Betty will be laid to rest in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
