Betty Ann McLaughlin Jones

BETTY ANN McLAUGHLIN JONES, 86, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016. She was born September 13, 1930 in New Albany to the late Thomas N. and Agnes C. Huber McLaughlin. Betty Ann was the former owner of BAJ Catering and member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Albany, and the former New Albany Country Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Kevin Jones; and her brother, Jim McLaughlin.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Clarence Donald Jones; children, Jeff Jones (Karen), Janice Smith (Steve), John Jones (Janet), Julie Schamel (Steve), and Jim Jones (Catherine); sister, Sr. Noreen McLaughlin; brothers, Tom McLaughlin (Geri) and Bob McLaughlin (Susan); sister-in-law, Betty McLaughlin; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring Street, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
