BERNARD SYLVESTER "BUD" CAMPBELL, 92, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016. The son of the late Manzie and Clara (Rosenberger) Campbell, Bud was born April 2, 1924 in Borden, Indiana. He was a World War II Army veteran, member of VFW Hobart Beach Post 1693 in New Albany, and former truck driver for Smith Transfer. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings John, Ed, Carl, Myrtle, Rosalene, Elizabeth, Leo, Ray, Martha, and Agnes.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Jeanne (Striegel) Campbell; children, Kevin L. Campbell, Debra K. Bailey, and Keith A. Campbell; grandchild, Jesse Bernard Bailey; and sister, Loretta Hardin.
Visitation will be 11:00 am ~ 1:00 pm Wednesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. His Funeral Service and Military Honors will be 1:00 pm Wednesday in the Kraft Charlestown Road Chapel with private entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany.
