Barbara J. Neal

Barbara J. Coppa Neal, 64 years of age died Sunday September 18, 2011 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN. She was born November 12th, 1946 in Steubenville, OH to the late Orlando and Helen Sawon Coppa. Most recently Barbara had been a receptionist at the Craig and Landreth Auto Dealership in Clarksville, IN and formerly had been a nursing assistant and tax preparer but most importantly she was a loving and caring wife, parent, and grandma who spent her life raising and caring for her family. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Stephanie Yeater, and Dona Coppa.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Charles D. Neal; children, Sherri Pearson (Shad) of Clarksville, Indiana, Tony Shafer of Memphis, Indiana, Misty VanFleet of Jeffersonville, Indiana; grandchildren, Stephen, Christopher, and Jacqlynn; brothers, Richard Coppa (Sarah), Paul Coppa (Irene), Michael Coppa, and Jimmy Coppa (Katie); many nieces and nephews

The family has chosen cremation. A Memorial Reception will be held from 4:00 pm ~ 7:00 pm Wednesday September 21st at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. The Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday in the Kraft Funeral Chapel.
