To Jeff and family, I was fortunate to have Ann as my Director and has always been my friend. I have known Ann for many, many years and I have always found her kindness to be so genuine. I could always go to Ann if I needed to talk to someone and she was always there to help, always gave you the best advice. She was one of the most kindness person that I have had as a friend and being able to work for, I will miss you so much, already have and always will. My deepest sympathy thru this difficult time to all of you, Rest in Peace Ann.

I worked for Ann several years back and she was just a wonderful, easy to talk to, and honest person. We used to walk to corporate every week for a meeting regarding a project I worked and I loved talking with her during those walks. Just bumping into her on the elevator always made me smile. Thinking of her loved ones!

Although I didn't report to or work for Ann-Marie, I worked around here. There were numerous occasions where I would have to borrow one of the many umbrella's she kept in her office. We would also talk about our kids' schools playing each other in sports, Floyd Central & Providence. Ann-Marie was good people. Her work ethic will be sincerely missed by Humana. To her family, may God be with you in your time of need. My sincerest sympathy & remember, if He brings you too it, he' ll bring you through it.

Ann, it's still so hard to believe you are gone. Your Humana family will miss you so very much. You always came in with a smile, and a story. I can't put into words how grateful we were to have had the opportunity to be on your team. When people leave, and want to come back to our team says a lot about who we are. That all starts with you. Thank you so very much for being the Director and friend that you were. You will truly be missed. To your family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Ann, I am going to miss you so much!  You were such a sweet, kind, genuine person with  such a giving heart!  As much as I hated to let you go, I know you are now resting in God's glory. I had the pleasure of hiring Ann as a customer service rep in the start of her career at Humana. She was a very special person that had absolutely no fear of interacting in a fair and even way with customers, co-workers, and all levels of management. She will be dearly missed by all that were touched by her honest and loving way of life.

I always loved to sit and talk with Ann, she was a very kind person with a big heart and smile to match..  She will be missed at Humana.  Prayers to the family.

Ann, I have to write this again as we miss you so much. It is just hard to close this weekend without your voice or communication with you. Lord please protect our lovely Director a perfect leader and thank you for such a wonderful Angel that touch all of our heart.  I missed you Ann and I know you are so happy you are done with the pain and don't need to go through the follow up doctors appointments that we don't want to deal  with, such as when it is our 4 months or 6 months checkup. We love you and I know you are waiting for us. Words cant express the pain and sadness we have. But I thank you for everything you have provided and thank you God for your beautiful angel Ann Marie Spalding as it touches so many lives. Ann, you will be forever in my heart.

Ann was always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.  I have shared many great laughs with Ann.  Ann knew how to keep her priorities straight, her God, her family and her friends were her focus.   Rest in eternal peace Ann.  I will miss you.

Ann I thank you for always being there.  You meant so much to all of us.  Many tears I have seen and cried but I know that you are happy now and no longer in pain.  We have worked together for many years but most importantly you were a friend.  You will always hold a piece of my heart.  Until I see you again my friend.

Life is so short for some and others get to grow old....Why is this? We will never know.  But what I do know...You will be truly missed by all the ones you left behind.  It saddens my heart that you are gone.

To Ann's family,  I was blessed to have Ann touch my life.  She was one of those people that you could go to with anything and she would help no matter how big or small.   She didn't judge others.   She welcomed all that walked thru her door.  I have not seen Ann for several years since leaving Humana, but her kindness  has left a permanent imprint on my life.  I wish I would have told her what her kindness meant.  She will be missed but never forgotten.  My deepest sympathy thru this difficult time for all of you.

We have been so blessed to have you support my husband and I through our last 3 year journey.  Only you could make chemo a happy event.  The nurses still talk about us.  Who surprises someone at chemo or offers to drive through a snow storm in their new caddy to get you to chemo?  Ann.

Ann was a fantastic Director to work under. She treated everyone the same. Showing great respect and love for her people. I miss her standing around our cubes sharing stories about family, especially the grandchildren & her precious dog, that she adored. Telling us funny stuff that would happen in the family.  (glove - mowing story was my favorite) Her energy and joy will be missed. She was one tough cookie and rolled with the punches. A testament of how we should want to live. To the family- may you find comfort in this time and find strength in her memories.

I still remember the first time I met Ann and instantly liked her.She was a blessing to Humana with both her professional and personal strengths. We were on the same team for several years together, and had a lot of fun. Ann was always so helpful, so kind, and could always make you laugh. She was simply a great person, that will be missed by all. My deepest sympathies to her husband, children, grandchildren and all of her family, friends and co-workers. She was taken much too soon, but definitely made a huge difference during her time on earth. RIP Ann-Marie Spalding. I will miss you!

I'm a fellow Humana employee and am reaching out because I lost my mom last month. She was 57 and although she had ailments, her death was completely unexpected. Ann  will be missed! I will always remember how excited we were when our first grandchildren were born we became grandmothers 1 month apart. We stood around and talked about the new bundles of joy that had  blessed our lives, and how we could have never known the happiness that a grandchild brings to a life without experiencing it.
