Ada I. Robinson Dunn, 93, died Friday, October 25, 2013 at Maple Manor Christian Home. The sixth of eight children, she was born September 13, 1920 in Rosewood, IN to the late George and Minnie Arnold Robinson. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, accomplished homemaker and a dear friend to many. She enjoyed gardening, especially roses, cooking delicious meals and serving the Lord Jesus every day. She was a musician and poet who loved to share her gifts with her congregation at First Southern Baptist Church in Clarksville where she was also a member of the Ruth class. She previously attended Main Street United Methodist Church, Sellersburg United Methodist Church, Colgate Baptist Church, Graceland Baptist Church, Northside Christian Church, and Culbertson Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Charles C Dunn; her parents; brothers, Cecil, Herbert, Calvin, and Clifford Robinson; sisters, Charlotte Knight and Aliene Fern Whitworth; and great-grand daughter Bri.Anna Dunn.
She is survived by her sons, Stephen C. Dunn (Claudia) and Barry N. Dunn (Jayne); daughter, Janet I. Werle (Richard); grandchildren, Chris Dunn (Barbara), Jennifer Dunn, Jay Dunn (Neda), Kyle Dunn, Jason Werle (Dena), and Rachel Duggan (Brian); great-grandchildren, Cullen Dunn, Nicholas Dunn, Calista Werle, Matthew Werle, Zoe Duggan and step-granddaughters Katey Duggan and Bailey Duggan; sister, Thelma Salmon; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana. Her Funeral Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with private entombment to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
She lived her last months at Maple Manor Christian Home where the attentive staff provided exceptional care and a loving environment. The family would like to express our gratitude to those who cared so deeply for mother.
