With the deepest of sorrow Mom/ Oma passed away at the age of 97 to join her beloved husband John, her parents (nee Gerritzen) and siblings.
She leaves to mourn her three sons and two daughters, Hans (Joy), Elizabeth (Doug) Sneesby, Mike (Tammy), Marian (Jim) Feakes, and Kelly (Randean) along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Mom came with John and her family from the Netherlands in 1957. Mom made a friend in everyone that she met. She rarely had a bad thing to say about anyone who crossed her path. Everyone that knew “Oma” loved her and her love in return was always unconditional.
She lived in her home on Simpson until the ripe old age of 96. She then moved to Bethania PCH where she spent her final days. She said numerous times how much she loved being at Bethania and enjoyed all the staff and spending time with the fellow residents.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday November 13/2024 at 2:00pm at Green Acres Funeral Chapel on Highway 1 East at Navin Road. Cremation will follow and a private interment will follow at a later date.
