Peacefully we announce the death of Victoria Hoffman on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 7:00pm at the age of 86 at the Victoria Hospital.
She was a “crafty” person who published her own book – Explosive New Ideas in Plastics and along with this, she produced her own television show on Prairie Public Channel 13, which was called Simple Crafts for Young and Old. She was a devoted Catholic and a lover of Christ.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Nelson (Katherine), Jewel (Virendra), and Carlyle; grandchildren Rahul, Rebecca (Alan), and James; great grandchildren Nalini and Nahia; sister Geraldine; nephews Miles (Carol) and their son Kirk, Carlyle (Gina) and their son Michael, and Duane; niece Benedikte, and Wanda; grand nephew Linden (Kathleen); and great grand nephew Randolph.
She is predeceased by Bernadette Hoffman, Martin Frank Hoffman by 34 years and brother Ted.
An order of burial will commence at 8:30pm on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
A service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:00am at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 505 Watt Street.
An interment will be held on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11:00am at Green Acres Cemetery, Hwy #1 East at Navin Road.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Victoria’s memory to the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Church Parish, either the Iconastas Fund, Picture Window Fund, or Holy Spirit Seminary.
