Robert Joseph Gerardy

MAY 5, 1924 – APRIL 15, 2012

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, pépère, brother and uncle on Sunday, April.15th 2012 at Ste. Anne Hospital.

Robert is lovingly remembered by his wife, Alexandrine, daughter Suzanne (Alex) Jungman, Marie-Jeanne (Marcel) Kirouac, Cécile Morin (Dale Delorme), Raymonde Gérardy (Eric von Thuelen), seven grand children and seven great grandchildren.

He is survived by three brothers, Fernand (Ferdinande), Jules (Odile) and Denis (Irene), five sisters, Adèle Leleannec, Angéline (Marcien) Poiron, Gabrielle Gérardy, Cécile Farncombe and Bernadette Bouteiller.

He was predeceased by his first wife Noëlia, his father Julien and his mother Célestine, his brothers Jean and Marcel, his sisters Thérèse, Maria and Annette, nine brother-in-laws and five sister-in-laws.

He was born in St. Labre, Manitoba and resided there all his life. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was always ready to help everyone.

The Gérardy family would like to thank Dr. Lemoine and the nursing staff at Ste. Anne Hospital for their hard work and their compassion during this trying time, as well at Green Acres Funeral Chapel for their services.

A prayer service of Robert’s life will take place on Saturday April 21st, 2012 in St. Labre Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 am, followed by a celebration of his life at 10:30 am. A burial will take place in St. Labre Roman Catholic Cemetery.
