It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our courageous husband and father, Robert Dean Currie, at home with his family at his side, he will forever be remembered by his soul-mate and wife Lissa Currie; their four children Jarret, Kaden, Mikayla and Rylee; brother Wayne Currie (Brenda); sisters Donna, Deanie (Terry) and children; and mother-in-law Alice Thompson (Tom).
He is predeceased by his mother and father Anne & Errol Currie.
Up until the very last breath, he thought only of the well-being of his family. Rob was a creator; he loved to build solutions to every problem he encountered. He was a “Macgyver”. He was always happy when he got to help anyone that needed it and never wanted anything in return.
Funeral services will be held at Notre Dame Church in Ile des Chênes, Manitoba, on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 1:45pm, preceeded by eulogy at 1:30pm. Lunch to follow.
