nee Lagasse
Peacefully on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, Mom went to be with her husband Wilfred and two sons Leo and Adrian.
Mom was born in St. Norbert, Manitoba to Amedee Lagasse and Rose Anna Vermette. Mom had 14 siblings.
Mom was predeceased by her mother, father, and several brothers and sisters, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, and great granddaughter Kandice Karasiuk.
Mom spent most of her life working side by side with Dad in many different restaurants and stores that they owned and operated during their lifetime.
She would be up at 5 am to make fresh pies for the restaurant each day.
She loved to entertain and was always happy being in the kitchen making soup and pies and the best butter tarts ever.
Mom also liked to garden and travel.
She was a hardworking woman that was very devoted to her family, she was always there when she was needed.
Mom is survived by her children; son Rudy LeBlanc (Alfrey) of Lac Du Bonnet, Terry Bailey (Bill), Doris Shane (Barney) of Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
Special thanks to Terry for her loving commitment to Mom’s care. Also a special thanks to Kash for all of the one on one visits with your great grandma.
A big thank you goes out to the staff of the Maples PCH for the very good care they gave Mom.
Service will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home on ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬Friday, January 7, 2011 at 2:00 pm.
