Eleanor Rose Lendrum

(nee Lindsay)

Peacefully, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eleanor Rose Lendrum on February 26, 2011 at Health Sciences Center at the age of 88 years.

Left to mourn her passing are her children Cathy and Harry, Larry and Linda, Marlene and Terry; 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 1 GGG; brother Stan and sister Dorothy; as well as 25 nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband John Duncan Lendrum.

Eleanor had many roles throughout her life, first she was a wife and mother who worked as a custodian at Minnetonka School, and later on she became a grandmother, GG and finally a GGG mother.

A celebration of Eleanor’s life will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home.

The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses from Health Sciences Centre Critical Care Unit for their care and compassion during Eleanor’s time of need.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor’s memory may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or CancerCare Foundation.
