Dorothy Maciejko, much loved wife of the late Joseph Maciejko, died peacefully at home at Beacon Hill Lodge on October 1, 2018. She was 99 years old.
Dorothy is survived by her son Bill, granddaughters Anna and Leah, great-grandchildren Sophie, Emily, Isla and John, sisters-in-law Jessie, Shirley and Dianne, and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her friends, especially Betty and Judy.
A special thank you to the staff at Beacon Hill who cared for Dorothy with love, respect and compassion.
Dorothy was born in Yorkshire, England. She came to Canada in 1946 as a war bride. For many years she worked in the Notions department of Eaton’s.
The funeral for Dorothy will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2018, 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home.
