Born February 12, 1935 in Horndean, Manitoba, he was the youngest of 11 children, survived by one sister Anne Neufeld. Neil was predeceased by his first wife Anne Hiebert and great-granddaughter Alexis Unger.
Neil was known as someone who loved the LORD and lived generously in his love for family and friends. He loved to spend time in his shop working on many woodworking projects, including a variety of birdhouses and toys for the grandkids.
Neil will be lovingly remembered by his wife Connie Hiebert, daughter Sharon Unger (Gerald), son Glen Hiebert (Heather), Connie’s daughters Kelly Hein (Patrick) and Shelly Cumming, grandchildren Bryan Unger, Jaclyn Unger, Vanessa Hiebert (Jason), Jessica Hiebert (Scott), Bradley Hein, Rebecca Scott (Tyson), Cassie Hein, Carissa Hein, and great-grandchildren Nova and Axl Hiebert.
In accordance with his wishes, a small family service will be held at Calvary Temple.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in Neil’s memory to Calvary Temple.
