Antonina Lucko

1925 - 2017

Peacefully in the early morning on September 26, Tina passed away at the Vista Park Lodge.

She is survived by her daughers Connie (Bob Taylor) and Christine (Bill Patterson), her son Tim (Susan); six grandchildren: Krista (Tony Bourgeois), Lori (Jeff Sobetski), Tanya (Keith Ballegeer), Jennifer (George Jaczina), Kyle Lucko, Nick Lucko (Sammy); eight great-grandchildren: Sheldon, Megan, Jordan, Katlyne, Declan, Avery, Mya, and Madyson. She is also survived by her brother Tony (Nellie) and sisters-in-law Carol, Millie, and Helen.

Tina was predeceased by her parents Antonio and Rozalia Lefko; her husband of 52 years Steve; brothers Walter, Frank, Mike, John, and Andy; sister Louise; sisters-in-law Mary and Jean; and brother-in-law Steve Kuzyk.

Being born July 18, 1925, and raised in a Cooks Creek homestead farm gave Tina the strong work foundation she was later to pass on to her family. She farmed with Steve in Hazelridge until their retirement, after which time they enjoyed travel and many winters in Texas with family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Vista Park Lodge for their caring and compassion of Tina and her family in her last days.

Service of Remembrance will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday October 2 at Green Acres Funeral Home, Highway 1 East at Navin Road.
