Alexis Bernadette Duma

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving mother Alexis Duma on Friday February 23, 2024 at St. Boniface Hospital.

Mom was born in Stuartburn MB April 13, 1929, moving to Gonor with her family before settling into her home in East Kildonan.

She will be greatly missed by her son’s Clayton and Allen (Diane), her grandsons Adam (Raena), Keith (Michelle) and granddaughter Heather (Darren) as well as six great grandchildren, Branson, Avram, Alaric, Evelyn, Isaac and Ava, blessings she loved with all her heart. She treasured her extended family and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward Duma, parents Kateryna and Alex, brother’s Nick (Ollie), John (Bernice), Billy (Ollie), George (Annette), sisters Bella (Nick), Sophie and Mary.

Alexis greatly loved and was loved by all her family, enjoyed traveling and camping holidays with her husband. Mom was well known for her fantastic cooking, sewing, cross stitching, needlepoint and gardening. We will all miss mom tremendously but are happy she is together once again with our dad and watching us all.

Thank you to Father Taras, the staff at St. Boniface Hospital and all the nurses and homecare professionals who visited with us and provided loving care to our mom. May God bless you all.
