Rosa Bertha Diaz Roldan

Rosa Bertha Diaz Roldan was born on January 10th, 1951, in Santiago Papasquiaro Durango, Mexico, to parents Jorge Diaz Campos and Geronima Bertha Diaz. She was the beloved sister of Graciela Diaz, Jorge Tomas Diaz, Maria Del Refugio Diaz, Felipe De Jesús Diaz, Juangualberto Diaz, Ana María Díaz, and Héctor Díaz. Rosa loved her siblings dearly and cherished the time they spent together.

She was a beloved mother to Arturo Diaz Chagollan, Frances Chagollan, and Maria Ramona Diaz Gastélum. Rosa was also a cherished grandmother to many grandchildren, including Cade Chagollan, Diego Chagollan, Bridgette Mae Cryar, Shandi Brianna Cryar, Mariah Guevara, Emanuel Guevara, Isaias Guevara, Jesus Jr. Guevara, Adan Diaz Espinoza, Favian Espinoza, Anthony Noah Zambrano, and Emma Zambrano.

Throughout her life, Rosa worked hard in various jobs, from working through in a library to picking fruit in the fields to working as an administrative secretary, dental receptionist, social security clerk, canning warehouse to any honest job she could find to support her children as a single mom.

Later in life she became Christian where she focused her faith in God and volunteered at church where she got to sing and cook food every weekend.

Despite her busy schedule, Rosa always made time for the things she loved, like dancing, singing, telling stories and sharing a good laugh with family and friends.

Rosa passed away on March 4th, 2023, after a long battle with early onset Alzheimer's disease and end-stage renal disease. Although she is no longer with us, Rosa's memory lives on through the love and memories she shared with her family and friends. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend who brought joy and happiness to all those around her.

A visitation for Rosa will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel National City, 607 National City Boulevard, National City, CA 91950.
