Wilma Hillis Tolbert Born on the 5th of October 1922 in Warren Co., TN to the late James Robert and Lena Marie Hillis, and passed away peacefully as a resident of the Webb House in Smithville, TN on the 1st of December 2013 at the age of 91. Preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Thomas Tolbert. Survived by her sons, Harrell (Gwen) Tolbert of Smithville, TN and Tommy (Melissa) Tolbert of Nashville; three grandchildren, Tara Tolbert, Lauren (Drew) Whitfield, and Lindsey Tolbert and her fiance, Chris Safley; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Tolbert of Murfreesboro, TN; and brother, Lloyd Hillis of Fairborn, OH. She was a long-time member of Vultee Church of Christ and served there for many years as the Church Secretery. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Woodlawn's Dignity Hall on Wednesday, the 4th of December 2013 at one o'clock in the afternoon with Dr. Carl McKelvey officiating and Bro. Paul Brown serving as song leader. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park's Garden of the Last Supper. The family invites friends to gather with them Tuesday evening for a time of visitation at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home from five o'clock until eight o'clock, and again one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
