Willie Mai was born on January 21, 1923 in Nashville, TN, the daughter of Charles and Mable Bixler.
Surviving is a son, Steven (Phyllis) Crowe; daughter, Linda C. Terwilliger; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and five great, great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death is her husband, Morgan Crowe Jr.; two sons, Gary and Glenn Crowe; and her parents.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from four o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening, and from twelve o’clock in the afternoon until one ‘clock on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin at one o’clock on Wednesday. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Willie's honor to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimers Association.
