Mott, William “Bill” Albert, Age 70 of Brentwood, TN. June 25, 2012. Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Frances Mott; brother, Bennett Jared Mott. Survived by wife of 51 years, Rita Sweeney Mott; sisters, Martha Mott Raper and Lee Ann Raper; sons, Darryl (Melissa) Mott and Jason (Christy) Mott; daughter, Sabrina (Steve) Mott Mennen; grandchildren, Elisha Mott, Chelsea Mott, D.J. Mott, Camille Mennen, Lance Mott, Courtney Mennen, Julia Mott and Ellie Mennen. Bill graduated from Goodlettsville High in 1959 and the University of Tennessee Knoxville in 1963 where he joined Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church. Bill served as 1st Lt. in the U.S. Army as Tank Unit Commander, worked as Account Executive in Corrugated Packaging and served his community as a member of Leadership Brentwood Class of 1998, Brentwood Rotary, Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, and eight years as a Williamson County Commissioner. A service to honor Bill’s dedication and devotion to God, his family, friends, community, and country will be held in the Chapel at Brentwood United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 7th . Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:00 with services at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
