Wanda June Scott

Wanda June Martin Scott, age 89, passed away on January 15, 2018. Wanda is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Jack D. Scott; parents, L. Neal and Vivian Smith; brother, L. Neal Smith, Jr.; son-in-law, Robert D. Taylor.

Wanda is survived by her children, Allen (Patsy) Scott, Carol Scott (Richard A.) Sneed, Nancy Scott Taylor, Randy Scott; grandchildren, David and Thomas Scott, Laura Sneed Walsh (Jimmy), Kelsey Sneed, Scott and Stephanie Taylor.

Wanda attended the University of Georgia where she met her husband Jack and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, she was a founding family member of Hammond Hills Swim Association, she served as the Chairman of the Board of Arbor Academy in Atlanta, Ga., she was also a member of the Ladies Nine Hole Group at Brentwood Country Club and a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday January 19, 2018 from 1:30 until 2:30 with a Celebration of Life service at 2:30 at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Dignity Hall with interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
