Ms. Beals was born in Hattiesburg, MS, on September 9, 1941, the daughter of the late Clarence Leon Locke and Rosetta Coleman Locke. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, and was an avid Nascar fan. Ms. Beals loved her family and helping others. In addition to her parents, Ms. Beals was preceded in death by a son, Scotty Beals.
Survivors include her special friend, Bill Van Cleave of La Vergne, TN, a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Neil Parman of Smyrna, TN; a granddaughter and her husband, Jennifer and Von Lasrithammavan of Murfreesboro, TN; a brother and sister-in-law, Sonny and Debbie Locke of Mount Juliet, TN; and three sisters and brothers-in-law, Sally Kate and J.T. Williamson of Purvis, MS, Lottie Mae and Clyde Guy of Hattiesburg, MS, and Mary Clark of Petal, MS. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015, at two thirty in the afternoon at Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall.
Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Saturday from ten o’clock in the morning until two o’clock in the afternoon, Woodlawn Roesch-Patton-Funeral Home.
