Victor J. Jenkins passed away abrupt with cancer in hospice care. He is survived by his wife, Samantha Bly Jenkins; son, Nicholas Bly; daughters, Victoria Jenkins, Julianna Jenkins and Cassidy Jenkins; mother, Deborah "Debbie" S. Carroll; sister, Trina Caraway-Grimes (Bo); brother, James Michael Jenkins Jr..
Preceded in death by his father, James Michael Jenkins Sr..
In life, Victor was known to be a rambunctious, humorous man who loved to play pranks and jokes. Halloween was his most favorite day of the year because he liked to dress up and scare people to make others laugh. He was known to work at haunted houses during spooky season. Although it was short, he lived a full life filled with laughter and joy with his family. Near the end, he gave his heart to Christ so we're certain he's in a much better place now and no longer in pain. It doesn't matter if we started the race at the beginning, came in the middle, sat down along the way, or ran in at the finish. Our Father is always waiting for us to run into his arms. Romans 10:9.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2pm Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Eastland Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Drake officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation with the family will be held Friday 2pm until 8pm and Saturday 12pm until 2pm at the funeral home.
