SCUDDER, Thomas Henry, Sr. age 91, Friday May 11, 2012. Survived by wife Gladys White Scudder; son Thomas Henry (Donna) Scudder, Jr., Nashville, TN; daughter Susan Greene, Lavergne, TN; grandchildren Katherine Scudder, Caroline Scudder, Crystal Landrum, Brittany Kaminh, great-grandchildren Caleb Henry Landrum, and Isabella Landrum. Mr. Scudder served in the U.S. Army in W.W. II receiving the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a member of First Baptist Church for 66 yrs. and served as deacon for 50 yrs. He was a member of Nashville Area Military-Purple Heart Order. He retired after 43 yrs. of service as an Industrial Engineer with the Baptist Sunday School Board. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at First Baptist Church Dr. Frank Lewis officiating, with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund or Brittany Kaminh c/o Life Point Church, Smyrna, TN.
