Thomas Bernard Rowan Jr.

Preceded in death by his parents, Clara Quinn Rowan and Thomas Bernard Rowan, Sr.

Survived by wife of 55 years, Mary Anne Socey Rowan; children, Thomas Bernard Rowan, III (Lily), Joanne Clare Rowan, Michael (Mac) McEwen Rowan (Judy), Rachael Elizabeth Safley (Todd) and six grandchildren, Jacob Todd Safley, Brandon Thomas Safley, Michael Joshua Rowan, Matthew McEwen Rowan, Basai Dong, Sonya Yang.

Tommy attended grade school at Cathedral of the Incarnation, graduated from Father Ryan High School where he received his B.A. Degree. He began his career at Third National Bank as a Loan Officer in 1959 which later merged with SunTrust Bank Inc. He was well known in that capacity having served in West Nashville, Dickerson Road, Melrose and Downtown branches of Third National and SunTrust. He retired in 1991.Grandsons will serve as Pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers, Father Ryan High School Class of 1954.

Visitation will be at Cathedral of the Incarnation from 9:00am – 10:00am on January 3, 2018 followed by Mass of the Resurrection.

Private family burial to follow at Cavalry Cemetery.

Donations may be made to Father Ryan High School Scholarship Program.
