Thomas Kerry (Tubby) Maxwell, age 57, is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Maxwell. He is survived by son, Daniel Maxwell; mother, Becky Maxwell Stiles; brother, Marc Maxwell (Kim); sister, Kathy Maxwell McCord (Jerry); and several nieces and nephews. An avid baseball enthusiast, Kerry played ball at Overton High School, Volunteer State and MTSU. Visitation will be held at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Thursday,
April 17, 2014 at eleven o'clock in the morning followed by the funeral service at two o'clock in the afternoon, also at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Kerry’s name may be made to American Cancer Society or Alive Hospice or the charity of your choice. Pallbearers will include Jimmy Mitchell, Jason Harrison, Tom Nichting, Eric Graves, Todd Faircloth, and Jeff Rowlett. Honorary pallbearers will include Tiger Tansil, Bobby Little, John Stanley, Steve Dukic, Scott Trotter, and all former team members of the Shoetiques, MTSU Blue Raiders, and Overton Bobcats.
