Tammy J Delk

Tammy Jeanette Delk, 65, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, surrounded by those who loved her. Tammy was born to the late Paul Douglas and Betty Jean Delk in New Orleans, Louisiana, on February 22, 1958.

Tammy was a special and innocent child of God. She never spoke a word, and yet she impacted the lives of so many with her sweet and humble spirit. She taught us to be thankful for every day and to enjoy the little things in life. She was truly a precious angel. Tammy loved having things 'just so’ and would stand her ground if they weren't. She was strong, both mentally and physically. Tammy enjoyed being outside in nature. She loved going for walks in the park and eating out with family and friends. She loved attending church. Though she couldn't sing, she loved worshiping God and would move her head along to the music. She loved working at New Horizons because she got to be around so many wonderful and caring people. Tammy attended Lebanon Road Church of Christ for forty years.

Tammy is survived by her sister, Natalie (Gary) Harris; nephew Paul (Sarah Barton) Harris; and niece, Michaela (Jacob) Finn.

A gathering of family & friends for Tammy will be held Monday, September 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 660 Thompson Ln, Nashville, TN 37204, followed by a celebration of life from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
