Surviving is her husband, Carl Jenkins; sons, Scott Thomas and Shannon (Heidi) Thomas; one grand-daughter, Abigail Thomas; and one brother, Jerry H. (Rose) Harris.
Preceding her in death are her parents.
Suzanne attended Belmont United Methodist Church, and had previously took an active role at Jenkins Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Nolensville. She attended Tusculum Elementary, Antioch High School, Belmont University, and UT Nashville. She had a masters degree, and was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and worked at various agencies prior to her retirement from the VA where she worked for homeless veterans. She will be missed by her family and friends.
A gathering of friends and family will be on Friday, July 26, 2019 from eleven o'clock in the morning until one o'clock in the afternoon, and a Celebration of Life will be at one o'clock in Dignity Hall at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Reverend Larry Guin will officiate.
