Suzanne was born on September 13, 1956, in Nashville, TN, the daughter of Garland Woodell and Geraldine Gracy Gwin Allen.
She is survived by husband, Michael Crabtree; her daughter, Michelle Westmoreland; grandchildren, Angela and Aliyah Westmoreland; step-children, Mark and Jessica Crabtree; and step-grandchildren, Dominic Bryson, Mia Crabtree, and Elliott Crabtree; and first husband, Richard Lamb.
Preceding her in death is her mother, Geraldine Gracy Gwin; grandfather, William Harry Gwin; and grandmother, Geraldine G. Davidson.
Suzanne was a graduate of Hume Fogg Technical High School in Nashville, and she attended Draughon’s Business College where she majored in business and received her Executive Secretarial Degree. In 1998, she obtained her Certification as a Real Estate Affiliate Broker from Continual Learning Institute in Nashville; and in July of 2004 she received her Commercial Driver’s License and Special Needs Certifications.
A person of many talents, Suzanne worked in import and export operations, as a transportation administrative assistant, a transportation clerk, a transportation coordinator, a driver supervisor, and a school bus driver over the many years of her working career.
Suzanne was a member of the Clan Davidson of the Scottish Clans. She enjoyed traveling, doing arts and crafts, music, reading, cooking, baking, and the bagpipes. But, she had a true passion for genealogy and history. She could also be found gardening and planting flowers, or doing anything that allowed her to have her hands in the dirt. She will be remembered for her love of animals and autumn, her favorite time of the year.
A kind and thoughtful soul, Suzanne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be greatly missed.
