Sheila Walsh

She was born on December 31, 1934 in Maui, Hawaii, the daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Kaauwai. She was a Native Hawaiian. Sheila was a longtime member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She also was very active in the Fifty Forward Senior Citizen Center in Donelson.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brother, Tyrone and Sam.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Walsh Jr, 9 children, 21 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and also on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

Funeral Mass will begin on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11:00 am with Father Mark Hunt officiating.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or to the Humane Society.
