Sammy Lee Criswell

Sammy Criswell went to be with the Lord on April 28, 2016 at 9:45 p.m. Sammy was loved by all who knew him. He loved nothing more than helping people; so many counted on him. He was a volunteer with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Foundation and a hunter education instructor. He loved his family, especially his grandson. Sammy was a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church in Mount Juliet, TN where he had many good friends that he cherished. He was especially fond of the youth and they loved him dearly. Sammy is survived by his wife, Kathy Criswell; daughter, Angela (Bryce) Hawks; son, Brian (Jennifer) Criswell; grandson, Dalton Massey; two sisters, Tina (Warren) Bowers and Deb (Roger) Sheline; two brothers, Dewayne (Deborah) Criswell and Randy Criswell; and a very special niece, Shelby (Jason) Robertson. He will be sorely missed by many. Visitation will be held from two o' clock in the afternoon until six on today, Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at one o' clock in the afternoon on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.
