Sam was born on July 18, 1990, to Michele DiCicco and Sean Hill in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Sam moved to Tennessee when he was 5 years old and grew up in Cottontown Tennessee.
Sam attended White House High School where he met the little sister of one of his friends, Hannah, who would one day be his wife.
Hannah and Sam were married in a small barn chapel on September 28, 2013. Hannah was always an outdoorsy person enjoyed festivals, concerts and camping while Sam was more of a homebody, enjoying his video games and computer hobbies. After much convincing, Sam started to participate in more activities and became excited about their shared love for the outdoors. They regularly went kayaking, enjoyed camping and fishing when they found the time. They also shared a passion for music and Sam attended his first concert in 2019. On any given month there were concert reminders on the calendar, and they shared each other’s playlists.
Sam worked in the same industry as his wife Hannah and found his niche as a freight broker in the logistics industry. After they bought their first home Sam was so happy to be able to take an active role in being an integral part of the lives of his nieces and nephews, 3 of which lived in the home that he and Hannah shared. They were his pride and heart. He also had a special love for their pets who were such an important part of their lives, Spanky Bobby Hill, Maxie, Leopold, Gary and Peaches.
