Ruth Virginia Nichols age 89, passed away on June 9, 2014 at her home. Preceded in death by her parents, Vester Newton Basham and Hester Simmons Basham; loving husband Tommie L. Nichols in 2006; survived by daughter, Nancy (James) Rayburn; nephew, Gerald Basham; two grandchildren, Alecia Baker and Ricky Hurt; four great-grandchildren, Brandon, Kristalea, Annalisa and Joshua; two great-great-grandchildren, Victoria and Layla. Ruth was a member of Goodlettsville Pentecostal Church. Celebration of Life Service will be conducted by Pastor Dan Russell on Thursday June 12th at two thirty in the afternoon, Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall. Visitation with family and friends on Wednesday from four o’clock until eight o’clock, Thursday from eleven o’clock until service time at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
