Ruby was born in Nolensville, TN on July 3, 1933, daughter of the late Benjamin Tilman and Dulcie Elliott Skinner.
She was a homemaker and excellent seamstress with work experience at Cloth World and Textile Fabrics. She was an active member of the Home Demonstration Club and Hermitage Church of Christ.
Ruby, is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ronald Wood; son, R. Kyle Wood; daughter, Kim (Kip) Williams; brothers; Reed A. (Helen) Skinner and Morris (Carolyn) Skinner; brother-in-law, John Waggoner; grandchildren; Steve Williams and Nick Williams.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathleen Waggoner and Hazel D. (James H.) Haynes.
Ruby was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother leaving an emptiness in our hearts that cannot be filled.
Pallbearers; Kyle Wood, Kip Williams, Steve Williams, Nick Williams, Morris Skinner and Brad Wardlaw.
Visitation Thursday April 26th from four o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home.
Second visitation Friday April 27th from one thirty until two thirty in the afternoon Funeral will begin at two thirty in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall, James Vandiver will officiate. Burial following Woodlawn Memorial Park.
