Nashville – Rose Marina Formosa-Bromley died on Sunday, May 27, 2018. She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on April 20, 1937 to Angelo Formosa, Sr. and Katherine Mary Josephine St. Charles Formosa. She was the youngest of four children. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Salvatore Joseph (Tony) Formosa, Sr., Pete Anthony Formosa, Sr., Angelo Formosa, Jr., her husband: Joe Brown Bromley, three nieces and one nephew and special angel Sandra Gayle. She is survived by children: Forrest Dale (Regina) Richardson, Jr., Catherine Marina (John) Eubank, Richard Ray Hutchison, Jr., Angela Reneé Thompson, Anna Maria (Lawrence) Baugh, Carol Elaine Vick, grandchildren: Katherine Marina (Christopher) Strube, Lisa Anne Murray, Breanna Dayle (Justin) Wood, John-Michael (LeeAnn) Eubank, Autumn Rose (Zane) Raborn, Austin Jared Vick, Lauren Lorraine Baugh, Christian Lane Weisner, great-grandchildren: Caroline Paige Wood, Connor James Wood, Krisslyn Marina Rose Strube and John-Holden Eubank, step-children: Michael, Vickey, Cynthia Bromley, 5 step-grandchildren, sister-in-law: Loretta J. Formosa, life-long cherished friend Helen Tinder Chester, a host of loving nieces and nephews and 5 Godchildren.
She married Joe B. Bromley on December 12, 1979. Together they shared 38 years of joys, births, travels and treasured the Journey of Life until his passing in November of 2017. Her faith and trust in God always sustained her and her prayers to the Blessed Mother for a peaceful transition from her earthly existence to her eternal one were answered as she was surrounded by her children and caregivers at the time of her passing on May 27, 2018 at her home after an extended illness.

Formosa, Jr., Tony M. Formosa, Angelo Formosa, III., Fabian Formosa, Sr., Lawrence Baugh, Dino Formosa and Michael Bromley.
Rose's family would like to acknowledge the caregivers who were so devoted and loving: Ruby Buie, Donna Matthews, Lisa Bean, Tab Foster, Re Re McKinney, and Christy Trice. Hospice: Sister Pam Nosbusch and Tiffany Bane.
The arrangement for her service are as follows: Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Marshall Donnelly Combs Funeral Home. The Rosary will be recited on Thursday afternoon at the visitation at 4:30 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with a two hour visitation prior to the service at Cathedral of the Incarnation Catholic Church.
