A Nashville native, Ronnie graduated from Cumberland High School in 1960 and Peabody College in 1965. He was General Manager of E.B. Smith Chevrolet, pursuing a lifelong love of all things cars. He was a member of several local car and business associations including the Model A Ford Club, Kiwanis Club, The Goodguys Club and several others.
Preceded in death by his parents, Nadine Smith (Sanders) and Emerson Braxton Smith, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Janice Smith; his four daughters: Sulynn Todd Dellinger, Kimberley Smith, Krista Smith (Reggie) Ramsey, and Lana Smith; his two grandchildren: Blake Dellinger and Caroline Ramsey; his brother Terry Smith; his nephews, Max Smith and Rob Monaghan; niece, Ashley Holland; other relatives and friends.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from twelve-thirty until two-thirty in the afternoon on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Woodlawn with Funeral Service to follow at two-thirty in Woodlawn’s Dignity Hall.
