She was born May 22, 1967 in Belleville, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Luetkemeyer. The family moved from Illinois to Nashville when Robin was 10 years old. She had been a proud Nashville resident since that time. She graduated from Antioch High School where she was an enthusiastic cheerleader. After high school she worked with Beck Arnley Automotive in sales and customer service for over 20 years. One of her fondest memories was the year she spent touring the country with Phil Vassar and his band as an administrative assistant and trainer. For the last eleven years she worked for worldwide company Schneider Electric in sales and customer service. She was often recognized by her management and other employees for her relentless pursuit of finding the best outcome for her customers, fellow employees and the company.
She developed a love for health and fitness at an early age and was a lifelong proponent of a healthy lifestyle. Her dedication led her to become a certified fitness trainer and to compete in figure competitions where she earned several trophies and accolades. She was always ready to assist people in accomplishing their health goals.
She had a lifelong struggle with health issues. Despite numerous surgeries and procedures to her back, neck, shoulder, and knees and other issues she found a way to persevere and find her way back to the gym.
She was a member of Lakeshore Christian Church in Antioch for over 30 years. She enjoyed the worship and the fellowship of her fellow church members and the pastor as well as participation in church outreach programs.
She enjoyed spending time and activities with her family and close friends. She maintained a very close personal relationship with her loving mother Lana. They spoke to each other practically every day whether to report something special or just to discuss the day's events and tell each other they
loved one another.
She is survived by her loving mother Lana Wilson, stepfather Claude Wilson of Nashville; brother
Bob Luetkemeyer, sister-in-law Micki Luetkemeyer (nee Kirby), nephew Chase Luetkemeyer of Melbourne, Florida; nephew Cody Luetkemeyer and his wife Chantel Luetkemeyer of Colorado Springs, Colorado; aunt Rhonda Dyer and uncle Jerry Dyer of St. Charles, Missouri. She also leaves several loved cousins in Illinois and Missouri.
She will be painfully missed by her family and those who knew her. Hopefully we can find some solace in knowing that our lives are richer because she was in our lives.
