Robert White, a long- time resident of Nashville, died Thursday, the 6th of October at Tenova Hospital, Lebanon, TN. Born in 1931 in Scottshill, TN, Robert had many great friends and family. He graduated from Scottshill High School and joined the U.S. Air Force serving during the Korean war. He worked for Kraft foods where he retired after nearly thirty years of service. He married Uldean White, the love of his live in 1953 and lived together until her death in May of this year. Robert enjoyed fishing, mechanical contraptions, and working with wood in his barn. He was very active in his hobbies and his many good friends. Robert was raised in the Church, and was an active member of Meads Chapel Church of Christ with his family for his entire adult life. He lived one day at a time and near the end of his life he spoke frequently of his hope of Heavens reward. He is survived by his son's; Doug White and Steve White, his wife Sherie, grandchildren Ben White, Rose Herd, Leslie Butler, Clayton White, and Daniel White; great grandchildren, Kaden White, Berkley Butler, Carley Butler, and Haley Butler most of whom live in the Middle Tennessee. The Woodlawn Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, has been entrusted with arrangements.
