Born in Nashville, Tennessee on January 17, 1943, he was the son of Robert Lloyd Pittman Senior and Rosa Belle Pittman. He graduated from Donelson High school in 1961. He owned Pittman Classic Cars and was known as “The T-Bird Man” for his exceptional restoration of Ford T-Birds.
He grew up a member of Lebanon Road Church of Christ and recently attended College Hills Church of Christ on occasion.
He will be remembered for his heart for his family and friends, his fun-loving personality, and his expertise in the classic car restoration business.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Pittman, his daughters, Traci Pittman Williams and Christina Rose Neal, his son-in-laws, Les Williams and Kevin Burke, his grandchildren, Max Williams, Avery Rose Neal, and his bonus grandchildren, Grayson Burke, Gabrielle Burke and Gibson Burke, and his dog, Scooter Pittman.
The memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 1pm at Lebanon Road Church of Christ (2503 Lebanon Rd. Nashville TN 37214) The visitation will be held from 11:30am to 1pm, the time of the service.
