Robert J. LeRoy

Robert J. LeRoy – age 88, passed away on November 27, 2013. Mr. LeRoy was born on April 13, 1925 in Henderson, KY. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Pauline Henderson LeRoy. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Judith Rickertsen LeRoy; daughter, Judy (Jon) Fox; granddaughter, Debbie Preston; great-grandchildren, Erin and Jackson Preston; and great-great grandchild, Abigail Jones as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mr. LeRoy served in WWII in the U.S. Army and received a Bronze Star. He was former owner of C& J Cartage and Super Wash. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at St. Edward Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Patrick Breen, Celebrant, with visitation one hour before. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Jon Fox, Ron Preston, Jackson Preston, Phil Rickertsen, Dave Rickertsen, and Gene Cunningham. The family wishes to express their appreciation to Alive Hospice for their tender and dedicated care during his illness.
