Robbie Lee Barrett age 94 of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on October 30, 2018. She was born on July 20th 1924 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. She graduated from Walter Hill High School and in 1951, enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, afterwards she was honorably discharged. She lived and worked in the Hillsboro Village area for over 50 years, lastly working in Security for Pinkerton & Wackenhut. Robbie was a member of the American Legion Post 5. In 2017, she was selected as an “Honors Flight” Recipient. She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley & Susie (Spann) Barrett; Brothers, Andy, Malcom & Elwood Barrett; sisters, Mary Barrett, Myrtle Barrett, Grace Gingrich and Bessie Moore. She is survived by sister, Vera (Tommy) Williams and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2018 at Mount Olivet Cemetery.
