He was preceded in death by Patricia Spiller, his wife of 52 years. He is survived by sons Daniel Spiller (Jennifer) of Minneapolis, MN, and Ben Spiller (Borden) of Nashville, grandsons Tobin, Isaac, Abbott and Elliott Spiller, and his brother, Jason, of Cupertino, CA. He was an Emeritus Professor of Marketing at California State University, Long Beach, but mainly a loving parent and grandparent. He was a baseball fan who enjoyed a play well made.
Services will be held at The Temple, 5015 Harding Pike, Nashville TN 37205, at 1:00 PM on Friday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Temple or Second Harvest Food Bank.
