Dick was born on December 14, 1931 to Raymond & Beatrice Frye. One of 5, he was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 67 years, Patsy;5 children, Michele (David) Marler, Kimberly (Chuck) Crain, Eric Frye, Alison (Fletcher) Bransford, Kendell (Joe) Felber; grandchildren, Brian Webber, Justin Marler, Dan Webber, Kelli Shuman, Chris Webber, Alex Crain, Christina Hyde-Frye, Sam Felber, Ben Felber, Lindsey Bransford and John Bransford; 10 great grandchildren and numerous family and friends.
Preceded in death by parents, and 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Dick had a strong love for our country and was able to serve in the United States Air Force for 28 years and retired as a Lt. Colonel. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Mt Juliet. Dick loved playing golf and was an avid walker, walking 3-5 miles every day. He enjoyed watching his beloved Red Sox and New England Patriots play ball. Most of all he loved being with his family and friends and never met a stranger.
We will miss the twinkle in his eyes, the jingle of the change in his pocket and the whistle from his lips. His legacy and memories will live on in the hearts of family and friends, Dick will truly be missed by all.
Visitation Tuesday April 16th 12pm until time of service at Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home
Memorial Service Tuesday, April 16th 2pm at the Hibbett & Hailey Funeral Home Chapel with full military honors for Dick's faithful service to our country in the U.S. Air Force for 28 years.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Richard's honor to the Alzheimer's Association
